  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter Or use peanut butter for a different flavor
Optional Toppings
  • to taste chocolate chips Add for extra sweetness
  • to taste nuts
  • to taste fresh fruit Bananas, berries, etc.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a microwave-safe mug, add the protein powder, cocoa powder, almond flour (or oats), and baking powder. Mix well to ensure there are no lumps.
  2. Pour in the almond milk and add the almond butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fully integrated.
Cooking
  1. Place your mug in the microwave and cook on high for about 60-90 seconds. Keep an eye on it to prevent overflow. The cake is done when it has risen and is set in the middle.
  2. Once cooked, remove the mug from the microwave. Sprinkle some chocolate chips, nuts, or fresh fruit on top if desired.
  3. Let it cool for a minute or two, then enjoy your protein-packed treat.

Notes

Microwaves vary, so keep a close eye on your mug cake as it cooks to avoid overcooking. Cooling it for a minute helps enhance flavor and makes it easier to eat.
