Ingredients

Fruits and Dairy
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and cubed Ensure it's slightly soft for optimal sweetness.
  • 1 cup coconut milk (full-fat or light) Choose based on your preference.
  • 1 banana (optional) For extra creaminess.
Sweeteners and Zest
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes For a chilled drink.
  • 1 splash lime juice Optional, for zest.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by peeling your mango and cutting it into cubes.
  2. In a blender, combine the mango cubes, coconut milk, banana (if using), honey or maple syrup, and lime juice. Add the ice cubes.
Blending
  1. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the blender struggles, add a bit more coconut milk.
Taste and Serve
  1. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more honey or maple syrup.
  2. Pour your smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, consider freezing the mango cubes ahead of time. You can also add chia seeds or protein powder for a nutritional boost. Variations include adding spinach for a green smoothie or mixed berries for added flavor.
