  • 4 large carrots Washed and peeled if desired
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash the carrots thoroughly and peel them if you prefer a smoother texture.
  3. Cut the carrots into evenly sized sticks, about 1/4 inch thick.
Seasoning and Baking
  1. In a large bowl, combine the carrot sticks with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  2. Spread the seasoned carrot sticks in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.
Serving
  1. Once done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  2. Serve with your child’s favorite dipping sauce and enjoy.

Notes

Try different spices or add cheese towards the end of baking for a fun twist. Make ahead by prepping carrot sticks and storing them in the fridge.
