  • 2 cloves Garlic Add more for a garlic-flavored pickle.
  • 1 tbsp Spices Mustard seeds, coriander seeds, and peppercorns as desired.

  1. Gather all your ingredients and wash the jalapeños thoroughly.
  2. Slice the jalapeños into rings, adjusting thickness to preference.
Make the Brine
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine equal parts water and white vinegar (1 cup each).
  2. Add salt and sugar, stirring over medium heat until dissolved. Toss in spices for added flavor.
Pack the Jars
  1. Place the sliced jalapeños in clean, sterilized jars, layering with garlic cloves and spices.
  2. Leave some space at the top of each jar.
Pour the Brine
  1. Carefully pour the brine over the jalapeños, ensuring they are submerged.
  2. Leave some space at the top for expansion.
Seal and Cool
  1. Seal the jars with their lids and let them cool at room temperature.
  2. Once cooled, store in the refrigerator. Can be enjoyed after 2 hours, but best after 24 hours.
