Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, grated parmesan cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix until everything is well incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  2. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Assembly
  1. Toast your burger buns slightly on the grill if desired, then place the grilled chicken patties on the buns.
  2. Top with lettuce and tomato, then serve immediately with your favorite condiments or sides.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with different toppings like avocado or spicy aioli. Chicken burgers can be frozen uncooked; just ensure they’re well-wrapped.
