Ingredients
  

Pasta and Vegetables
  • 8 oz pasta (fusilli, rotini, or any pasta of your choice) Cook until al dente.
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
Dressing
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze Adjust according to taste.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper Essential for flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by boiling a pot of salted water and cooking your choice of pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the pasta cooks, halve the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls, and tear the basil leaves.
Assembly
  1. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.
  3. Drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil over the mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste and gently toss.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Notes

For best results, choose fresh, in-season ingredients and allow the salad to chill before serving.
