  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adds depth to the chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Adds a touch of onion flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. If starting with raw chicken, boil it until fully cooked. Let it cool, then shred it using two forks or your hands.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the chicken is fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half and place them cut side up on a baking sheet. Toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes or until slightly crispy.
Assembly
  1. On the bottom half of each slider bun, place a generous scoop of the BBQ chicken mixture. If using, add coleslaw or pickles here.
  2. Place the top half of each slider bun on the chicken. For added flavor, you can brush melted butter on the tops and sprinkle with garlic powder before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve the sliders warm, with extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

Keep sliders warm in a slow cooker if not serving immediately. Customize with various toppings to suit your taste.
