Ingredients
  

Shrimp Preparation
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Oil spray for frying
Dipping Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel to help the coating stick better.
  2. In one bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs with Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, add the all-purpose flour.
  4. In a third bowl, beat the eggs.
Coating the Shrimp
  1. Dredge each shrimp in the flour, shaking off the excess.
  2. Dip the shrimp into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
  3. Roll the shrimp in the seasoned panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray the basket with oil.
  2. Place the breaded shrimp in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t crowded. Spray the tops lightly with oil.
  3. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
Dipping Sauce
  1. While the shrimp are cooking, mix mayonnaise and sriracha for a dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are completely dry before coating for better texture. For variations, try using different seasonings or serve over tacos and salads.
